There's not just one virus

Trailing right behind Covid19 is a virus just as dangerous, misinformation. As social media and unreliable sources begin to infect our population, we are often left victim to false information. Specifically, Gen Z struggles to attain factual material as they drown upon distorted/heavily biased news. This can be stopped through increased awareness on altered stories and a platform appealing to growing minds other than Social Media. It is pivotal that teens develop these skills so that they can participate in future elections with real facts interwoven with their own personal conclusions.

PURPOSE

What does this all mean?

As an impressionable, young demographic, it is vital that teenagers receive a comfortable platform where they can explore their own perspectives free of judgement. Social Media not only overwhelms Gen Z with an influx of information, but also projects false reports. Hopefully after exploring this resource, one can feel they have a grip over the knowledge they retain whilst encouraging others to engage as well.

I get a sense of hope, considering that China is heavily involved in manufacturing, and they are actively trying to change their approach to plastic.
